pulsed MIG and alum boat welds

Hi Ed,I have visited your web page many times to study a bit on different processes that Im interested in using.I would like to know if it makes sense for me (small boat builder) to buy a pulsed mig unit for welding the panels used on my boats.I use 5052 H32 aluminum 3mm thick.I have experimented a bit with traditional spray and find it a bit hard to control for the thickness specified.My main concerns other than control is heat distortion.Would pulsed mig be the way to go?Keep in mind that this is a very small operation,basically still at the prototype stage .Thank you very much.
